Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP)

The Maternal Infant Health Program provides services to pregnant women and infants who are on Medicaid. Home visits for support, teaching and referral are available to help insure healthy mothers and babies.

Services Available:

  • Public Health Nurse visits that include: health assessments, information about pregnancy & child care, referrals to childbirth education
  • Social Work visits that include: an assessment of supports and resources, referrals to community services
  • Registered Dietitian visits that include: nutrition assessments, coordination with WIC, & nutrition education.
